Cruising from Oriental to Belhaven on America’s Great Loop

Unfortunately today we must leave Oriental, North Carolina. We have stayed our two nights on the free dock (with a free pump out, I might add) and decided to spend our last morning with a stroll around the town.

We stopped at probably the coolest coffee shop we’ve seen in a while. It had a homely feel, kinda like Luke’s Diner in Gilmore Girls, where it was the place every one went to get a cup of joe and chat. It was slightly raised and had this gorgeous view of their simple harbor. We grabbed a couple everything bagel sandwiches and they were fantastic. The perfect warm breakfast for a chilly morning.

Afterwards we checked out the local parks on the water before beginning our cruise to Belhaven, North Carolina, another small town in North Carolina. We hope you enjoy our cruise along America’s Great Loop!
